Dr. Shea's Biography:
Dr. Shea graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1994. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Offut Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska and served three years as a General Dentistry Officer in the rank of Captain in the Air Force before returning to Louisiana to practice.
Dr. Shea practiced Family Dentistry in New Orleans treating families and students in the Uptown University Area for over eight years. During that time he also taught part-time as an Associate Professor of Operative Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Shea is committed to keeping current with the ever improving practice of cosmetic, general and family dentistry as evidenced by his 1200+ hours of Continuing Education since dental school. For this accomplishment Dr. Shea has been awarded Fellowship in 2000 and Mastership in 2004 in The Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Shea is married and has three children residing in Baton Rouge.
